Building Conservation

Although Peter does not hold any formal qualifications in building conservation, much of his work in and around south east Dorset involves surveying old traditional properties.  In response to this, Peter has attended numerous 'hands on' courses run at Bursledon Brickworks Conservation Centre to obtain an insight into traditional building techniques.  Peter is a member of Hampshire Conservation Trust and is attending a series of refresher courses throughout 2008.

Small Building Works Supervision

This work can include preparing specifications, preparing and going out to contractors to tender, analysis of tenders, selection and appointment of contractor. The practice regularly undertakes this work as part of its duties where properties are under management. The practice has an appreciation of Health & Safety issues and can provide advice to ensure a safe working environment.
